Let me describe a small adventure for you. This Pres. Day Weekend I had the great opportunity to run off to California. Now, me going was quite unexpected, and I'm glad I went. The first day there was just a surge of great memories of me growing up in the area.We went about to see some of the local cool stuff. You know the usual Hollywood pilgrimage that every movie fan should take. Along with that a visit to the local hipster store ended with me buying a plaid shirt. From there it kept going, we had dinner, walked around Universal Studios City Walk, and had a great time.
I remembered a quote from my favorite movie " you've got to put the past behind you before you can move on". And, I think that's what this trip was all about for me. To forget about a few things, and move along with new ones.
Sunday, came about and we visited temple grounds. No matter where it may be all temples are great, and have a great effect at helping me remember all of the great covenants made there.
As for Monday rolling around, after having great accommodations by a great family, we made our way back to school, work, and all future endevours.
