Shoes

Shoes have protected us for some time now. Man invented shoes in order to protect his/her feet from the cold and other unsuitable terrain. Shoes have been improved since old times. We keep seeing so many different colors and styles. So many brands to choose from that each one gives us a pitch on why to choose them. Some shoe brands state just to do something while the other says that impossible is nothing.

However depending on your personality that will be the type of shoe you may choose. Depending on how you feel that's the type you may want to wear at the moment. But, as how Forrest Gump's mom said shoe's will take you anywhere. Forrest himself states "My momma always said you can tell about a person by their shoes, where they go, where they've been, I bet if I think about it real hard I could remember my first pair of shoes...".

Shoes also have different meaning to me. Aside from taking us places, it seems normal that in our life to be best accompanied its with our shoes. Shoes are like what we need in a companion. Everyone shoe style that has ever been made is fundamentally the same. It has a sole, a bottom, a tongue, a front, a back, two sides, eyelids, etc, etc. But, even humans are made the same, yet there are many differences in humans. The obvious ones are shoes made for Women and shoes made for Men. When humans are young they wear kids shoes. Humans and shoes are quite alike duly because when men create things they have a lot of themselves placed in their particular creation.

In this particular article the discussion is the following. For men shoes are like the type of women you should be looking for. They come in all shapes and sizes. If one size is too small that's okay cause at one time you were a perfect fit, but you can get the same type of shoe if needed in a larger size that will fit. Now anything in your own size and larger you can fit into, and things can work out. There are black, brown, white, yellow, blue, red, plaid, and all sorts of colors in shoes. Some are very elegant, some are sloppy, some are for running, and some are best suited for specific sports. Unfortunately like your significant other they can get worn out, they don't fit after you initially try them on. Sometimes they can smell real bad. They get sweaty and gross inside and out. Shoes as in your love interest can get you sick as well. You can also lose your shoes just as your loved one. Just like in a relationship if the shoe fits the couples fit. Sometimes in relationships the match of a foot and a shoe is so great that they can make you run faster and jump higher than you could have ever imagined. So therefore in this analogy for men seeking women, its like unto men choosing shoes to wear.

Like most everyone I've had all sorts of different shoes. Some are for special occasions. Some are are for working out while others are just to hang out and feel comfortable. Whenever a man starts dating a lot of girls the term can be used by saying. "oh I'm just trying on shoes right now, trying to see which one fits." In a lot of cases they don't. And man has to go try on another pair of shoes. Then man finds a shoe that can last him a lifetime. The problem is if man doesn't take care of his shoes they get damaged. Of course if they do get damaged there plenty of shoe repair shops. That would be like taking some alone time for each other to sort things out. Once the shoe is repaired then life continues on. If its beyond repair man has to go look for new shoes. Otherwise he'll remain barefoot and unprotected having nothing to make his feet as much as himself feel great.

That's why a very wise man will try and find a pair of shoes that will last. For me in my personal opinion regardless of all my shoes. There is a pair that has lasted. My Docs, they accompanied me through my days in Boston. They have withstood rain, snow, oil, and hard work. They accompany me on Sundays and at one point I wore my docs to work every day. So to me a perfect shoe is like these docs that I own. They withstand time, they go through life with you no matter what happens. They are protective and every time I put them on they bring me comfort. Memories that make me happy come from wearing my Docs. They are repairable and forgiving to my sensitive feet. And in return I keep them safe. I clean them I polish them, so that when they are polished they feel and look their best. They are my best shoes. Just like every dream of a couple in a relationship. They are each other's best friend, foot and shoe.
